Local NHS health services

Feeling unwell?

In an emergency, always call 999. If it’s less urgent, call 111 the new NHS advice line. Trained operators will give you basic advice, and tell you where to go to get the best help, for example your local pharmacy (chemist); GP surgery or walk-in or minor injury centre.

You can look online: put in your symptoms and see where best to go for further help at www.getwellEssex.com, or www.nhs.uk has all the NHS national advice and guidance.
